finished bag
i finished the bag for the auction, as you can see. i found an emerald green placemat at the thrift store (2 for 95 cents) to use for the lining. everything used in the bag is recycled or reclaimed, except the bamboo handles.the auction is next saturday, we'll see how much it goes for...

thanks. i used two yarns held together: handspun multicolored cotton and rayon yarn made from recycled saris (vegan recycled "silk") and plum cotton yarn reclaimed from a thrift store sweater.
wow, that bag is beautiful! i'm sure it will fetch a good amount of money!
(can you tell i'm finally catching up on all the great posts i missed?!)
